Undergraduate Courses

TThe Department of Textile & Clothing Technology came into being as a fully fledged Department in 1985, with the launch of the BSc Engineering Degree Program with the assistance of the Textile Department of the University of Leeds and the Manchester Metropolitan University. In 2001 the Bachelor of Design course came into being, with collaboration from the London College of Fashion of the University of Arts London, a specialist in fashion design education. The Department is currently the only Department in the Faculty of Engineering to run two degree programs
